* GotU works through a network of Apple Authorized Service Providers that at their discretion, either (i) repair the defect at no charge, using new parts or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements, or (ii) exchange the device with a replacement product that is new or comprised of new and/or previously used genuine Apple parts and has been tested and passed Apple functional requirements.
** Our limited coverage for accidental damage and hardware services is restricted to a finite number of incidents per device, coverage details are listed in the Service Agreement. Mac CarePack Extensions do not cover battery services or replacements.
